Privacy

This site counts visits. The counts are anonymous. Browsing does not give us your name, email address, or any other personal information.

What a visit records

A script we host ourselves records each page view. It notes the page address and title, the site that linked here, screen size, language, and time zone. A random id kept in your browser lets us count return visits and sessions without knowing who you are. Reports can also show country and browser. The IP address used to place the country is not stored.

There are no advertising cookies, no heatmaps, and no recordings of what you do on the page. We do not sell these counts, and we do not send them to an advertising network or a third-party analytics service.

Opting out

Counting stops in a browser that asks to opt out. Open sandmarktech.com/?ql-optout=1 once, and that browser is remembered. Open sandmarktech.com/?ql-optout=0 to start counting again.

Messages you send

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message so we can reply. That information is separate from the visit counts, and we only have it because you sent it.
